Build AI that reaches production.

We’re hiring engineers, designers and governance leads in Singapore. The work is high-stakes — there’s a regulator at the end of every project — and the bar is high to match.

The work

What you’d actually be doing.

EIS engineers ship production AI for clients who can’t afford it not to work. That means real users on the other end, real money flowing through the system, and a regulator with questions. The work is hands-on, end-to-end, and high-context — you’ll see the strategy that scoped your project and answer the page when it breaks at 3am.

End-to-end ownership. You’ll join an engagement at ASSESS or ARCHITECT and stay through OPERATE. Same client, same codebase, same problem — usually for nine months or more.
Pair-agent workflows. Every EIS engineer operates a dual workflow — a pair-programming agent reviewing structure as you write, another running tests continuously. Production patterns from day one.
Regulator-facing systems. MAS, OJK, BNM, BSP — every system we ship has a regulator with questions. You’ll write the evidence pack, not just the code.
On-call you can be proud of. We operate what we build. Rotations are shared, runbooks are real, and the engineers who wrote the code answer the pages. No-one outsources the messy bit.
Open roles

Six roles. Singapore-based.

No remote, for now — the work depends on being in the same room as clients and regulators. Visa sponsorship available for senior engineers and specialists. All roles report to a named principal; you’ll meet them on the first interview.

Don’t see your role? Email careers@eis.sg with a one-page note. We read every one.

The hiring process

Four steps. Two weeks, end-to-end.

No coding hazing. No twelve-round panels. We don’t ask you to invert a binary tree on a whiteboard. The process is built to mirror the work — pair-engineering, written evidence, real systems, calibrated against the principal you’d actually be working for.

Day 1

Intro call · 30 min

A conversation with the principal you’d report to. We’ll talk about systems you’ve shipped, problems you’ve solved, and what you’d want from your next role. No leetcode, no riddles.

Days 2–4

Take-home pair-programming · 2–3 hrs

A real problem from a sanitised past engagement. You’ll work alongside our pair-agent for a couple of hours and submit a short write-up — not a perfect solution. We’re hiring for taste, not endurance.

Days 5–7

On-site · half day

Architecture conversation with the principal and one senior engineer. We’ll walk through your write-up together, discuss tradeoffs, and pair on extending it. Lunch with the wider team.

Days 8–14

Reference call & offer

We’ll ring two references — one peer, one report or manager. If we both want to move forward, you’ll have a written offer and a start date by the end of week two.

What we offer

The package. Plainly stated.

Salary above market. Bands published in the role spec, calibrated quarterly against Singapore senior engineering compensation. No negotiation games.
Equity in EIS. Every full-time hire gets equity. Four-year vest, one-year cliff, 90-day post-termination exercise window.
Real on-call comp. Pages aren’t free. On-call rotations are paid above base; weekend incident response is paid double.
Learning budget. SGD 5,000 per year — conferences, courses, books, hardware. No approval queue.
Sabbatical. Six paid weeks every three years. Mandatory. We’d rather you came back rested than burned out.
Health, fully covered. Comprehensive health, dental, optical and mental health for you and dependents.
